Open Days at Chocolatemakers
Chocolatemakers is the only chocolate factory in the Netherlands where 100% CO2-free chocolate is produced on a large scale. Do you want to see, taste and smell it with your own eyes? Then come along to the Open Days.
Chocolate Makers aims to make a positive impact and lasting change among consumers who love chocolate. You won't really understand that until you visit the factory in the Port of Amsterdam.
Tasting and judging
Employees show you production process up close. You may taste various types of Chocolatemakers-made chocolate and pass your judgment. And if you have any questions, they will answer them on the spot. You can spend at least half an hour looking around, and it's completely free!
Sailing ship
Fun fact. Some of the cocoa beans come to Amsterdam by sailing ship from Colombia and the Dominican Republic. It is now a tradition that the bars for Germany go by cargo bike to our eastern neighbors. Important to know is that chocolate production is entirely solar powered and no plastic is used. Curious about 100% CO2-free chocolate? Then book your ticket(s) now and stop by Chocolate Makers.
