Amsterdam has the largest petrol port in the world and EuroTank Amsterdam (ETA) is one of the oldest fuel terminals in our country. Learn what blending fuels entails, hear about ETA's plans for energy transition and take the informative guided tour of the terminal and much more.

Visitors to EuroTank Amsterdam are received in front of the terminal's headquarters. From there, each group will take a guided tour of the terminal by touring car. Stops along the way include stops at the jetties where tankers dock to transship fuel.

Fuel Samples
To experience how safety is ensured at the terminal, members of the ETA fire team demonstrate how fire hoses are used during emergencies. Fuel sampling will also be explained.

Wildlife
Since EuroTank Amsterdam is home to all kinds of wildlife, a specialist is present at the terminal to tell the public about this topic. Especially for Seaport Days, a coffee and ice cream cart is available in the parking lot for visitors.

Duration of the tour
The tour at EuroTank Amsterdam lasts a maximum of 30 minutes. In total, a visit to the terminal takes about an hour, as the company organizes all kinds of fun activities for visitors. Children under the age of 18 are welcome, but with an adult to accompany them.

EuroTank Amsterdam distinguishes itself from the other terminals in the port of Amsterdam by the high degree of flexibility and storage capacity of the storage and transshipment location. The terminal at the Jan van Riebeeckhaven has a capacity of almost 1.4 millionm3 for liquid bulk products distributed over 211 tanks. ETA is known for its specialty of complex blending of different fuels.
