Imagine yourself 300 years back in time and step aboard the Statenjacht 'De Utrecht'. The ship was built based on construction drawings from 1746 and is therefore a faithful replica of a state yacht.
State yachts used to be used to transport important people. Consequently, the ships were richly decorated and equipped with every luxury. Once on board and underway on the IJ, you have plenty of time to discover this gem. Cleverly hidden behind doors and hatches, modern equipment has been installed so that the ship meets all modern-day comfort requirements.
