Visiting Rietlanden Terminals? It is possible during the Seaport Days!
Rietlanden Terminals has a rich history in the port of Amsterdam and grew to become a leading player in the transshipment of coal for power plants, as well as other dry bulk cargo and logistics services. With two terminals in Amsterdam - in Afrikahaven and Amerikahaven - the company offers a storage capacity of approximately 2.6 million tons.
Floating crane
At both terminals, ships can load and unload with a capacity of 170,000 tons. This requires the use of four striking yellow floating cranes, one of which can be seen in action up close on June 14 and 15 at the Seaport Days festival site on Java Island.
