Ships Parade on the Nautilus

June 28, 08.00-12.00
Amsterdam
12 years

The Ships Parade on the North Sea Canal and the IJ is a separate attraction with which we officially open the Seaport Days every year. This is done by sailing up with a number of ships from our program with a frigate of the Royal Navy to its berth at the Passenger Terminal Amsterdam.

Sr.Ms.Johan de Witt
This year only diving vessel the Nautilus and minesweeper the Hr.Ms. Mahu will accompany the Zr.Ms. Johan de Witt from IJmuiden to the IJhaven next to Amsterdam CS. Near the Westhaven, the rest of the ships participating in the parade will join them. Those joining the parade will board in Amsterdam at the Javakade, head for IJmuiden and be dropped off again at IJhaven at noon. A wonderful cruise.

Catering on board
From the water, the view of the immense Johan de Witt is spectacular. And if you embark on the Nautilus, you are one of twelve people who experience the entire Amsterdam-IJmuiden-Amsterdam ride. Only the Hr.Ms.Mahu pulls up with the Nautilus, but this minesweeper is manned exclusively by relations of the Mahu. Conveniently, catering aboard the Nautilus is included in the price.

Price
The ticket price Amsterdam-IJmuiden-Amsterdam on the Nautilus during the Seaport Days Ships is €50. Price includes catering.
