The Maritime Officer course prepares you to sail on the largest ships in the world. With us you get to sail and maneuver a little yourself, in addition we let you load a ship yourself!
The training ship Gyrinus is an important part of maritime education. This ship offers students the unique opportunity to gain practical experience in a realistic maritime environment. With the Gyrinus, students learn not only navigation and maneuvering, but also essential skills such as loading and balancing the ship. The Gyrinus is equipped with modern navigation and communication systems, familiarizing students with the technologies they will use later in their careers. In addition, the ship provides a safe and controlled environment where students can develop and refine their skills under the guidance of experienced instructors. This makes the training ship Gyrinus an indispensable link in the Maritime Officer training program.
Sail by yourself
During the sailing trip you get to sail and maneuver a bit yourself, in addition we let you load a ship yourself and you have to make sure that the ship does not sink! On Saturdays and Sundays the ship lies at the quay and there is no sailing - during that time you can get on - and admire the ship!
