The Westhaven Tour on Westpoort Werkt's Sally starts at the dock of Spliethoff, one of the largest shipping companies in the world. Then it immediately becomes fascinating because on your right is Chocolatemakers, you pass the terminal of VCK (United Cargadoors Office) and the cocoa warehouse of Katoennatie.
If the weather is nice, you will sit on the roof of the Sally's cabin and in about 45 minutes the guide will tell you which port companies are all located on the Westhaven. You will be surprised at the nature and quantities of bulk goods all being stored and transshipped here. Including coal, because the turning point of the tour is at HES Bulk Terminal.
Seamen's House
Every West Port tour begins at the Seamen's House (Seamen's Centre), the residence for sailors far from home who can chill out here. Here is check-in and scan tickets for the tour.
Chocolatemakers
Next door to the Zeemanshuis is Chocolatemakers, this factory produces 100% CO2-free chocolate every day. The company holds open house during Seaport Days, so feel free to drop in if you have the time. You can see the production process, taste 100% CO2-free cocoa and buy the bars you like.

Accessibility
Seamen's Centre and Spliethoff are only 15 minutes away on foot from Sloterdijk Station at Radarweg 32. On weekends, parking is available at Spliethoff, Radarweg 36, 1042 AA Amsterdam.
