Amsterdam gets Maritime Week in June 2026
The initiative for this Maritime Gift comes from a collaboration of the Royal Navy, ORAM Ondernemend Amsterdam, Het Scheepvaartmuseum, Port of Amsterdam, Damen Shiprepair Amsterdam and Stichting SAIL Amsterdam.
Joining forces Amsterdam 750
The organizations joined forces to not only celebrate the city's 750th anniversary, but also mark it with a lasting investment in Amsterdam's future as a water city. The gift consists of three pillars: Maritime Week Amsterdam, the NACO House as Maritime Clubhouse and the Maritime Runner, a tangible cultural route that connects Amsterdam's rich nautical past to its future.

With this joint effort, the initiators want to send a powerful signal: Amsterdam ís water. The Maritime Gift highlights the rich past, vibrant present and innovative future of the port city, providing a lasting impulse for a proud, inclusive and future-oriented capital. Zeehavendagen Amsterdam will also become part of Maritime Week.
