Zeehavendagen Amsterdam 2025
The fourth edition of Zeehavendagen Amsterdam will be held this year from June 13 to 15. Once again, the Java Island, IJhaven and the quay of the Passenger Terminal Amsterdam will act as a "promo village" for the port business community and visitors will enjoy open ships, port tours, demonstrations on the water and entertainment for young and old.

Hydrogen Inspirience
Zeehavendagen Amsterdam is part of this year's Future Ten Days (June 12-21), which is organized in the context of 750 years of Amsterdam. This means that at the event there is much to see about the future of the port and commercial and recreational shipping. Including hybrid and 100% electric shipping, but also the latest developments in the port in the field of energy transition and circular industry. Big eye-catcher in the context of the future port is the Hydrogen Inspirience where you can get acquainted with this fuel in an accessible way and what role the port plays in it.
Attractions for children
The Seaport Days offers a fantastic "day out in the harbor" for young and old. There is plenty to see and do on Java Island, IJhaven and the quay of the Passenger Terminal. Last year's big eye-catcher - harbor crane De Zeearend - is also present this year and a popular attraction for children. There is also a cozy festival area with catering establishments and atmospheric terraces.
A unique look behind the scenes!
This year, Seaport Days offers a spectacular experience with more than 60 attractions spread over two days. One of the absolute highlights are the exclusive tours at port companies throughout the North Sea Canal area. Starting in the spring, you can get tickets for this unique opportunity to discover places that normally remain closed to the public.
Step inside Damen Shiprepair in Amsterdam-North, see TMA's giant storage and transshipment terminal in Amerikahaven and discover many more special locations. Go on Havensafari and tour parts of the port where you would never come otherwise.
Working in the port
Zeehavendagen Amsterdam also lets you see, feel, taste and hear what it is like to work in the port. We have an extensive program for primary, secondary, higher and university schools on June 13. The general public will be introduced to working in the port on June 14 and 15 when we present a selection of current vacancies in the port in the promo village on the festival grounds.
Publicity
Seaport Days is all about raising public awareness of the Amsterdam Seaport. We show what goes on behind the scenes in port business and what it takes (on the water) to keep the port running and safe. An extensive promotional campaign for Seaport Days is planned in the run-up to the weekend of June 14 and 15, and the event itself also generates the necessary attention among a large audience. Last year, 24,000 visitors came to Zeehavendagen Amsterdam. Most visitors come from the 24-49 age group (with and without children). The program of Werken in de haven provides a lot of attention in the target groups 8-16 and 16-24 years. Everyone comes mainly from Greater Amsterdam and the province of North Holland.
