Seaport Days gets Energy Square
Zeehavendagen Amsterdam 2025 gives a glimpse of what the port and shipping industry looks like today. As part of the Future Days (June 12-21), we also look ahead. Including at the Energieplein on the Festival grounds and through the extensive ship program.

Seaport Days gets Energy Square
Eye-catchers at the Energy Square will be the Waste Energy Company; what happens to Amsterdam residents' garbage. The company has been in the port for years, but what do they actually do there.
Whoever says port of the future says hydrogen. How the port of Amsterdam will soon play a major role in the development of this new fuel you will find out in the Hydrogen Insperience.
Those who know the port know that it begins in IJmuiden and ends at the Orange Lock in Amsterdam East. Next year this waterway celebrates its 150th anniversary. At the Energieplein you will take a journey through the North Sea Canal of then, now and soon in the Canal of the Future.
In the coming weeks we will announce more details about the contents of the Energy Square and the activities to see and do there. It is an experience for young and old alike.
